The way of treatment depends on the condition and age of the patient and the extent of the disease's spread. The patients are often subjected to surgical procedures and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Treatment for the patient and his family is a long process that leads to series changes in daily life. The nurse participates in all stages of the disease. She works a health care plan, carries out specifics health care procedures, educates patients and family, participates in rehabilitation and gives a psychological support, which she facilitating the patients journey. By doing proper hygene of the tracheostomy, the lining of the oral cavity significantly reduces the number of newly-formed complications. Proper treatment of the consequences of radiotherapy, healing the pain, good education and rehabilitation increases quality of life of patients and his family. With her knowledge, skills and experience, she notices every new changes on the patient, notifies the doctor and carries out adequate interventions.
