Abstract | Poremećaji ponašanja odnose se na one pojave u ponašanju, različite biološke, psihološke, pedagoške i socijalne geneze koje izlaze iz okvira opće prihvaćenih normi ponašanja određene sredine. U te poremećaje spada i poremećaj hiperaktivnosti i pomanjkanja pažnje (ADHD) što je neurorazvojni poremećaj koji obilježava pomanjkanje pažnje i u nekim slučajevima impulzivnost i hiperaktivnost. ADHD može imati ozbiljne dugoročne posljedice ukoliko se ne dijagnosticira i adekvatno liječi. Liječenje ADHD-a je multidisciplinaran proces koji se u velikoj mjeri oslanja na edukaciju djeteta i obitelji u vidu etiologije, simptoma, te farmakološke i bihevioralne intervencije. Uloge i odgovornosti medicinske sestre prilikom skrbi za pacijente s ADHD-om obuhvaćaju procjenu, planiranje, provedbu mjera i daljnju procjene napretka pacijenta. Medicinska sestra također ima važnu ulogu u pomaganju pacijentu i obitelji u razvoju novih i učinkovitijih metoda suočavanja sa stresom preko socijalnih vještina i psihoedukacije. |

Parallel abstract (English) | Behavioral disorders are related to those phenomena in behavior, variety of biological, psychological, educational and social genesis that go beyond the generally accepted norms of behavior of a particular community. Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric illness characterized by attention skills that are developmentally inappropriate and, in some cases, impulsivity and hyperactivity. ADHD can have long-term serious consequences without diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Treatment of ADHD is a multidisciplinary process that relies heavily on patient and family education regarding the etiology, symptoms, and pharmacologic and behavioral interventions. Nursing roles and responsibilities include assessment, planning, and implementation of interventions and ongoing evaluation of progress. The nurse also plays an important role in helping the client and family to develop new and more effective coping skills through social skills and parent training classes, and psychoeducation. |
