Nowadays, endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms has more and more advantages over open surgical treatment. Endovascular surgery is less invasive and the mortality rate is significantly lower in contrast to open surgical treatment. One of the complications of endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms is the formation of permeability or endoleak. In this study, we investigated the frequency and characteristics of endoleaks in patients who treated abdominal aortic aneurysm with endovascular method.. Methods are based on statistical data processing of 60 patients treated at the Clinical Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Clinical Hospital Center Split. Data were collected from the archives of the said clinical institution from patients treated in the period from 01/2016 to 05/2019. The analysis determined that the endoleak appeared in 63% of patients. The most common type of endoleak that occurred was endoleak type II. Endoleak-related reintervention was required in 4 patients. In most patients, type II endoleak gradually receded and did not require re-intervention. Endovascular treatment is a newer method of treatment and requires constant monitoring of the implanted stent-graft. The mean follow-up time of the patients analyzed in this study was 26 months. The average number of controls is 4 controls.
