Abstract
Odbojka je sport kompleksnih polistrukturalnih gibanja u kojima postoji čitav niz različitih kretnji, skokova, bacanja i padova, a karakterizira je opterećenje srednjeg i submaksimalnog opterećenja. Neki odbojkaški elementi zahtijevaju jednostrano opterećenje tijela koje može dovesti do nastanka mišićnih disbalansa i asimetrije. Na ove kompenzacije treba utjecati što prije jer predstavljaju rizik za nastanak ozljeda. Funkcionalna procjena pokreta (FMS) jest dijagnostička metoda za procjenu učinkovitosti lokomotornog sustava, a najviše se odnosi na procjenjivanje stabilnosti i mobilnosti različitih dijelova tijela. Cilj funkcionalne procjene pokreta je prikupljanje objektivnih podataka o ispitanikovim kvalitetama obrazaca najosnovnijih kretanja kako bi se identificirale slabije karike u ljudskom tijelu. Cilj završnog rada je na uzorku Hrvatske muške odbojkaške reprezentacije istražiti postoje li razlike u rezultatima bilateralnih FMS testova na temelju kojih se može zaključiti postojanost asimetrije te razlika u lijevoj i desnoj strani kod profesionalnih odbojkaša. Prikupljeni podaci opisani su deskriptivnom statistikom, a razlike u lijevoj i desnoj strani su uspoređene Wilcoxon signed-rank testom. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da statistički značajna razlika bilateralnih testova ne postoji što implicira da je trenažni proces u odbojci na profesionalnoj razini usmjeren na postizanje što kvalitetnijeg balansa između mobilnosti i stabilnosti tijela.
Abstract (english)
Volleyball is a sport with complex, polystructural motions including jumps, throws and falls which are caracterized by medium and submaximal load. Some volleyball elements require one-sided body load, which can lead to muscle imbalance and asymmetry. These compensations should be affected as soon as possible because they present risk for injury occurence. Functional movement screen (FMS) is a diagnostic method for the assessment of the locomotor system effectiveness, primarly the assessment of different body parts' stability and mobility. The aim od funcional movement screen is to collect objective data about examinee's pattern quality of basic movements to identify the parts of the human body. The aim of this bachleor thesis is to investigate if there's any differences in bilateral FMS test results within the Croatian Men's Volleyball National team to see if there's any existence of asymmetry and differences between the left and the right side of the professional volleyball players' body. The collected data is described by descriptive statistics, while the differences between the left and the right side are compared by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The research results' show that there is no statistical significance among bilateral FMS tests, which implicates that the training process on a professional volleyball level is directed towards achieving the optimal balance between body stability and mobility.
