Abstract
Cilj: Cilj ovog rada je procijeniti stavove mladih ljudi prema ovisnosti. Metode: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 502 ispitanika od kojih je bilo 246 (49%) muškaraca i 256 (51%) žena u dobi od 15 do 18 godina. Ispitanici su bili učenici prvog (N=261) i četvrtog (N=241) razreda splitskih srednjih škola Za istraživanje su korišteni upitnici za prikupljanje sociodemografskih karakteristika ispitanika te upitnik sa trideset i devet tvrdnji koje se odnose na stavove ispitanika prema ovisnosti. ... More Rezultati: Na tvrdnje „Korištenje kanabisa ne treba biti legalno?“ i „Nije normalno da mladi ljudi probaju droge barem jednom.“ muškarci su zauzeli značajno povoljnije stavove. Učenici prvog i četvrtog razreda su statistički značajno različito odgovorili na tvrdnju „Povremeno korištenje kanabisa/marihuane je opasno.“ dok su kod tvrdnje „Većina mladih danas proba ecstasy.“ odgovori učenika prvih i četvrtih razreda statistički značajno različiti. Učenici I i II gimnazije i učenici zdravstvene škole su na tvrdnju „Sve droge nisu jednako štetne za Vaše zdravlje.“, te „Povremeno korištenje kanabisa/marihuane je opasno.“ statistički značajno različito odgovorili, a kod tvrdnji „Korištenje kanabisa/marihuane ne treba biti legalno?“, „Povremeno korištenje kanabisa/marihuane je opasno.“ te „Edukacija o drogama ne treba početi u osnovnoj školi.“ odgovori učenika pomorske i zdravstvene škole su statistički značajno različiti. Zaključak: Iako većina ispitanika ima pozitivne stavove o ovisnostima i smatra da je edukacija o ovisnostima potrebna već u ranoj fazi školovanja, ipak su rezultati pokazali da svaki peti ispitanik prvog razredu srednje škole te svaki treći ispitanik četvrtog razreda srednje škole konzumira kanabis. Ovakvi rezultati govore u prilog potrebe sustavnog pristupa šire zajednice u rješavanju ovog problema. Less
Abstract (english)
Aim: The aim of this paper is to evaluate the attitudes of young people towards addiction. Methods: 502 subjects participated in the study, out of which 246 (49%) were men and 256 (51%) were women aged 15 to 18 years. Respondents were students of the first (N = 261) and fourth (N = 241) grades of Split highschool schools. The survey used questionnaires to collect sociodemographic characteristics of the respondents and a questionnaire with thirty - nine claims pertaining to attitudes of... More respondents according to. Results: "The use of cannabis does not need to be legitimate?" and "It's not normal for young people to try drugs at least once." were the claims for which men had more favorable attitudes. First and fourth grade students have statistically responded in another manner to the statement "Occasional use of cannabis / marijuana is dangerous." whilst, their opinions differed in ''Most young people today try ecstasy.'' claim. pupils of the 1st and 2nd Gymnasium as well as of the Medical School have statistically answered differently when relating to two following claims: ''All drugs are not equally harmful to your health.'' and '' Occasional use of marijuana / cannabis is dangerous.'' and "Education on drugs should not start in elementary school." The responses of students of Maritime and Medical schools significantly varied in questioning their attitudes towards claims ''Use of cannabis / marijuana does not need to be legitimate?'', ''Occasional use of cannabis / marijuana is dangerous.'' and ''Education on drugs should not start in elementary school.''. Conclusion: While most respondents have positive attitudes about addiction and believe that education on addiction is needed at an early stage of education, the results showed that every fifth respondent in the first grade of secondary school and every third of the fourth year of secondary school students consumed cannabis.
