Abstract
Zlouporaba zabranjenih droga jedan je od najvećih problema s kojima se danas suočavaju suvremena društva. Novorođenće majke ovisnice, nedužna je žrtva ovisnosti i svega što ovisnost donosi. Aktom rađanja prekida se opskrba novorođenćeta drogom i ono razvija sindrom ustezanja. Ono prolazi apstinencijske krize s jako teškim simptomima, a i suočena su sa značajno višim rizikom novorođenačke smrtnosti kao i s dugotrajnim posljedicama. Iako još uvijek ne postoji idealan oblik liječenja ovisnosti u trudnoći, ova ranjiva skupina žena i djece zaslužuje multidisciplinarni pristup te sustavnu, oragniziranu i trajnu skrb. Temeljem podataka iz literature autori ističu potrebu društvene brige u spriječavanju prometa i konzumiranja droga, potrebu intezivne antenatalne skrbi trudnica-ovisnica i intenzivan nadzor novorođenćeta majke ovisnice.
Abstract (english)
Abuse of forbidden drugs is one of the biggest problems that we face nowdays in modern society. Newborn of an addicted mother, is the innocent victim of addiction and everything that addiction brings. Act of giving birth interrupts the feeding with drugs and the newborn is developing withdrawal symptoms. It goes detox with very severe symptoms, and is faced with a significantly higher risk of neonatal mortality as well as long-term consequences. Although there is still no ideal form of addiction treatment in pregnancy, this vulnerable group of women and children deserve a multidisciplinary approach and systematic, organized and continuing care. Based on data from the literature the authors emphasize the need for social care in preventing traffic and consumption of drugs, the need for intensive antenatal care of pregnant drug addict and intensive monitoring of the newborn mothers addicted.
