Abstract
Operacije totalne ugradnje endoproteze kuka ili koljena te operativno liječenje frakture vrata femura su velike ortopedske operacije pri kojima je rizik razvoja venske tromboembolije među najvećima uzevši u obzir sve operativne zahvate. Preporuke svih smjernica imaju za cilj prevenciju fatalne ili simptomatske plućne embolije i simptomatske duboke venske tromboze . Ako se na vrijeme prepoznaju čimbenici rizika i savjesno provode prevencijski postupci, tromboembolija se često može spriječiti. Ukoliko postoje znakovi tromboembolije zadaća medicinske sestre/tehničara time je veća jer moguće komplikacije su za život opasna stanja.
Abstract (english)
The operations of total hip or knee arthroplasty and surgical treatment of femoral neck fractures are major orthopedic surgery in which the risk of developing venous thromboembolism among the largest having regard to all surgeries. The recommendations of the guidelines are aimed at the prevention of fatal or symptomatic pulmonary embolism and symptomatic deep vein thrombosis. If the risk factors are recognized in time and if prevention procedures are conscientiously implemented, thromboembolism can often be prevented. If there are symptoms of thromboembolism, the tasks of nurse is more important because of possible complications for life-threatening conditions.
