Abstract
U završnom radu opisan je princip rada kompjuterizirana tomografija visoke rezolucije HRCT/Multislice CT kao važne metode u otkrivanju bolesti plućnog interesticija. Bolesti plućnog intersticija heterogena su skupina bolesti koju čini više od 180 različitih entiteta. Čine 15 % plućne patologije. Napretkom tehnologije i znanosti sve se češće dijagnosticiraju. Kompjuterizirana tomografija je prva radiološka metoda koja je omogućila uvid u unutrašnjost tijela, tj. strukture tijela koje su superponirane na klasičnim rendgenskim snimkama. CT (slojevno snimanje) najkraće rečeno, predstavlja računalnu rekonstrukciju poprečnog (aksijalnog) tomografskog sloja, na osnovu mnogostrukog mjerenja apsorpcijskih vrijednosti rtg zraka. Informacije koje nam daje MSCT i HRCT o plućima uvelike poboljšava kvalitetu rada i znatno pridonosi pravilnoj dijagnozi i terapiji. Koristeći se MSCT-om i HRCT-om mnoge intersticijske bolesti imaju svoje tipične osobine, te se izbjegavaju agresivnije dijagnostičke metode kao što su bronhoskopija i otvorene kirurške biopsije. Prilikom opisivanja HRCT/MSCT snimke prsnog koša potrebno je pridržavati se terminologije koja se znatno razlikuje od terminologije koja se koristi prilikom opisivanja konvencionalnih radiograma.
Abstract (english)
This final paper describes the working principle of high resolution computed tomography HRCT/multislice CT as an important method for detecting lung disease. Interstitial lung diseases are a heterogeneous group of diseases consisting of more than 180 different entities and they make 15% of lung pathology. The advancement of technology and science are increasingly being diagnosed. Computed tomography is the first imaging method that allow to asess inside of the body, those body structures that are superimposed on the classic X-rays. CT (layer imaging) in a nutshell, is a computer reconstruction of the transverse (axial) tomography layer, on the basis of multiple measurements of the absorption values of X-ray beam. The information given by MSCT and HRCT of the lungs greatly improves performance and significantly contributes to proper diagnosis and treatment. Using MSCT and HRCT many interstitial diseases have their own typical characteristics, and aggressive diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy and open surgical biopsy are being avoided. When describing HRC/MSCT images of the thorax, it is necessary to comply with the terminology that is significantly different from the terminology used to describe conventional radiographs.
