Abstract
Potrebe za visokom rezolucijom slikovnih podataka su bile sve veće, pa je prvi mikro - CT uređaj osmislio i konstruirao 1980. godine Jim Elliott. U ovom završnom radu objašnjen je princip rada mikro - CT sustava, razvoj tehnologije i sama tehnologija sustava od izvora i detektora rendgenskih zraka, geometrije sustava, zatim algoritama za rekonstrukciju slike, korištenja kontrastnih sredstava u oslikavanju mikro - CT-om, te doze zračenja. Naglašeno je koja su kontrastna sredstva bolja za životinje i za određene pretrage. Nadalje, opisana je uloga mikro - CT-a u biomedicini u oslikavanju tumora, pluća, srca i kostiju, te upotreba skenirajućeg elektronskog mikroskopa (SEM) s mikro-CT-om. Kroz primjer upotrebe mikro - CT-a u arheologiji približena je važnost primjene ovog sustava u drugim područjima izvan biomedicine, a kroz primjer dvoenergetskog mikro - CT sustava i in vivo razlučivanja mekog tkiva (masti) od pluća miša, budućnost mikro - CT sustava.
Abstract (english)
The first X-ray microtomography system was conceived and built by Jim Elliott, in the early 1980s. Working principle of microtomography, X-ray sources and detectors technology development, geometry system, image reconstruction algorithms, contrast agents for micro-CT imaging, and radiation dose were explained. Which contrast agents are better for animals and for some studies was made clear. Furthermore, the role of micro-CT imaging of tumors, lung, heart, and bones were explained, too, as well as the use of a Micro-CT for SEM. The example of micro-CT imaging in archeology described the use of micro-CT system in other areas, but the example of a Dual-energy Micro-CT described the future of micro-CT system.
